Palo Alto Planning and Transportation Commission
As vice-chair and member of the Commission, I have advocated for:
- Zoning for what you want in an area--retail, manufacturing, housing.
- Retention of existing, smaller housing units that are as equally important as creation of new affordable housing.
- Completion of the Baylands Master Plan.
- Balancing housing demand with the ability to provide the city services, such as parks.
- Automobile trip reduction, including alternate transportation means such as bicycle and shuttle.
- A more efficient, predictable planning process for both the applicant and the public.
